We’re excited to announce the transition that will enhance your experience with CRISP DC. Organizations have moved from Encounter Notification System (ENS) to the CRISP Event Notification Delivery (CEND) solution. This shift represents a significant upgrade in our ability to deliver timely and accurate encounter notifications to our users. Additionally, we have created a new and improved notification viewing application, Explorer, to replace ENS PROMPT. This transition allows for a more user-friendly interface for clinicians and care teams to review their patients’ encounters.
Introducing CEND
The CRISP Event Notification Delivery (CEND) solution replaces the Encounter Notification System (ENS) for CRISP users. It still offers real-time alerts for patients’ hospital encounters, but now seamlessly integrates into the CRISP Portal through Population Explorer. Operated internally, CEND ensures timely troubleshooting and ongoing enhancements, enhancing our ability to deliver accurate notifications.
Key Features of CEND:
CEND streamlines encounter notifications, ensuring timely and relevant information delivery. This includes routing alerts to be viewed in Population Explorer or routed to your organization via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) or other modalities.
Introducing Population Explorer
Population Explorer is an easy-to-use interface for clinicians or a patient’s care team to access their patients’ latest encounters and each patient’s six-month encounter history. This tool will be seamlessly integrated into the HIE portal as a separate widget accessible by each HIE affiliate.
Key Features of Population Explorer:
- Access and Review: Users can view and export latest encounters of patients on their panel.
- Filtering Capabilities: Efficiently filter data available in an encounter based on your specific inquiries.
- Intra-Portal Navigation: Click into other information available in HIE portal directly from the widget. This includes clinical information, referrals, and prescription drug monitoring, where available.
