My Patient Summary

My Patient Summary allows CRISP-DC end-users to create a customized page by pinning up to 8 of their most used tabs within the InContext (Clinical Information) application. With My Patient Summary, users can access the data most important to them, and spend more time focused on patient care, without the hassle of excess clicks and toggling through different data tabs.

With My Patient Summary users can:

  • Navigate through the InContext application, and identify which subtabs are most relevant to their workflow (for example Immunizations, Care Teams, Visit Summaries, or Reported Medications)
  • Customize their dashboard via pinning and unpinning subtabs as needed
  • ‘Drag and Drop’ to reposition subtabs and move them to any desired location within MyPatient Summary

Frequently Asked Questions

When you launch the InContext Application within the CRISP DC portal, by the side panel you’ll see a list of tabs and at the bottom is ‘My Patient Summary’ along with its description. After clicking on the ‘My Patient Summary’ tab, you’ll see a set of instructions on how to PIN tabs you use frequently in My Patient Summary. Follow the steps to curate your view. You can pin a maximum of 8 tabs in my patient summary.

To unpin a tab, simply click on the pinned tab within my patient summary and the tab disappears and will not be displayed in my patient summary (do this if you have up to 8 tabs and would like to replace a tab with another that you use more frequently).

Each pinned tab within my patient summary can be reordered by using the reorder button (4 arrow icon) in the top right corner of each tab. Simply click and drag the tab to its desired location.

Right now, My Patient Summary is probably at the bottom of the list in the side panel and NOT your landing page (the first screen you see when you get into the portal). To have this as your landing page, navigate to User settings located at the bottom of the side panel. When you click on it, a list of tabs on the side panel appears, and My Patient Summary is there. Use the UP arrow to push it to the top of the list (or however order you want the tabs to appear). You can also use the down arrow to reorganize other tabs. Click save, and My Patient Summary now appears as the first/landing page when you launch the InContext App.
